Houston's economy is broad: energy, healthcare, the port and shipping, construction, and a large base of industrial and field-service companies. A lot of that work happens on sites, vessels and job locations rather than in an office, and much of it still runs on phone calls, spreadsheets and documents passed between inboxes.
Those businesses usually need the same few things from software: a mobile app for people in the field, a web portal for the office or for customers, and one shared record underneath so everyone sees the same job, asset or certificate. That is the kind of system we design and build.
Why our maritime work is relevant here
Ship's Ahoy, a platform we are designing and building (it is still in build), is the closest match in our portfolio. Crew, captains, owners and marina businesses each need a different view of the same vessel. Crew use a Flutter app for profiles, certifications and a job board; marina businesses use a Next.js portal; a NestJS API with real-time messaging keeps one record for all of them. The same pattern fits many Houston operations: different roles, one source of truth, and a phone in the hand of the people doing the work.

Does Forjwell have a Houston office?
Forjwell's main office is in Austin. Our parent company, SoftStings LLC, is based in Conroe, north of Houston. Houston projects are run by the same team, with weekly demos and our client portal, Forjwell One.
Can an app work where there is poor signal?
Yes, with planning. Both cross-platform mobile apps and progressive web apps can store data on the device and sync when a connection returns. How much offline work the app must support is one of the first things we pin down, because it shapes the whole architecture.
Can you connect to the systems we already use?
Usually. We build integrations with accounting, CRM, scheduling and industry systems through their APIs, and design around them when an API is limited. We will tell you early if a system makes something impractical.
Who owns the code?
You do. Code, designs and documentation are handed over, and we can stay on for support and new phases if you want us to.
